I think the problem with system guides like that are that they are prone to being outdated fairly often and are typically pretty generalized in use. Best thing E.g. if you aren't gaming you don't need a big GPU, or if it's a work PC for email and productivity an SSD and an i3 or AMD APU might be a good plan.
